Hands-on introduction to AI literacy and to co-designing teaching resources enhancing AI literacy in K-12 education
AI is already shaping the world our students are growing up in — yet schools lack the materials and frameworks needed to teach young people how to understand, evaluate, and navigate it. This hands-on tutorial introduces the concept of AI literacy: the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that enable individuals to engage critically and responsibly with AI technologies.
Over two sessions, we’ll explore what AI literacy means in practice, try out concrete learning materials co-designed with teachers and students, and work together to translate AI literacy into teaching resources you can bring back to your own classroom or institution. Whether you’re a researcher, teacher educator, or classroom teacher — and whether AI literacy is new to you or already on your radar — you’re welcome here.
No prior experience with teaching AI literacy is required.
